Description:

Acephate is systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. Control of wide range of chewing and sucking insects. e.g. aphids, thrips, lepidopterous larvae, sawflies, leaf miners etc in fruit, vine, hops, olives, cotton, soya beans, peanuts, beet, beens , potatoes, rice, tobacco, and other crops.

Toxicity:

Mammalian Toxicity

Acute overexposures by oral, dermal or inhalation routes may produce signs and symptoms of toxicity, usually within several hours of exposure, including but not limited to headaches, dizziness, weakness, constriction of the pupil, blurred or dark vision, excessive salivation or nasal discharge, profuse sweating, abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhea and vomiting. Severe poisonings may result in incontinence, unconsciousness, convulsions and death.

Environmental Toxicity

Acephate Technical is moderately toxic to birds and also is practically non toxic to freshwater fish.

Shelf Life:

Two years under normal storage conditions.
